I would like to welcome you to one of the most extraordinary places in the world, the old and glorious Orvieto, with its pulsing culinary heart. Our school is located at Zeppelin Restaurant, in the medieval center of the old city!
I want you to explore the art of cooking from a different perspective, as a food traveler and explorer.
Take advantage of the beauty of the town, the freshness of our produce, the inebriant fragrance of our breads, and the clearness of a glass of Orvieto Classico in front of the Duomo.
I want to you feel like an Etruscan when you walk down the cliff of the town, and a medieval knight when you step inside the mighty Duomo, and a tiny humble monk when you walk the narrow alleys, slowly walking on grey cobblestones.
I want you to breathe the smell of roasted peppers on an early July morning and fresh laundry waving in a garden.
I want you to smell gorgeous peaches at the market and inviting, greasy bomboloni stuffed with lemon yellow custard.
I want you to embrace a culture made by simple things and stubborn people, who never left the “cliff” being too proud of it or too jealous of it.
When I founded the school, I wanted to introduce these incredible things to other people, especially those who love authenticity and true food.
Our unique culinary school offers programs with a focused and exciting curriculum, always with a good touch of fun! We use tested recipes and use only high quality, local ingredients. We believe that education is a complex mix of all senses and human experiences, as well as techniques and proper procedures. Identifying ingredients, touching and feeling them, handling and smelling them. Your body is going to be part of this fascinating ancient world of flavors and your training as chopping, sautéing, braising and baking will be part of this concert.
Our instructors are hard trained professionals; they have experience in every aspect of the world of food and its evolution. They all know that dedication and motivation are the keys to a successful teacher and educator.
Classroom lectures and instruction along with kitchen activities are completed by amazing workshops in places where food and people are one culinary masterpiece.
You will find yourself happy to open the door of your soul to our wineries, cheese factories, extra virgin olive oil mills, butchers, gardeners, pastry chefs, chocolatiers, farmers, gelato makers … !
